Planning Your North American Missions Emphasis
PRAY for members to have a greater awareness of and commitment to missions through their prayers and financial gifts.
PLAN your church's emphasis by forming a leadership team to plan, promote and conduct the various events. Include pastor, mission leaders and other mission advocates. Utilize planning helps, ideas and resources found at AnnieArmstrong.com. The Week of Prayer dates are March 3-10; however, your church can participate in a North American missions emphasis and can give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering at any time of year.
ENLIST your pastor, a North American missionary or staff member from Tar River or your state convention to share about North American missions efforts during a worship service.
PROMOTE the offering, utilizing promotion resources such as video segments from the "Whatever It Takes" DVD, posters, prayer guides and offering envelopes. (TAR RIVER HAS EXTRA COPIES OF THIS DVD)
MOBILIZE your church to be an active participant in North American missions. Visit namb.net and click on "mobilize me" for more information.
