Tar River Baptist Association is committed to fulfilling its purpose - strengthening the local church and impacting lostness in THIS generation. We need people actively engaged in the ministry of their local church with a passion to strengthen His church and reach the lost and disciple the saved. We are open to nominations from our member churches to serve in positions of leadership within the association.
Nomination by an individual does not automatically mean the individual will be asked to serve in that position of leadership. There are a variety of factors that contribute to the nomination process, including our ByLaws. We can promise that every person nominated will be considered prayerfully!
It is our goal to maximize participation. Serving in the leadership of TRBA is not the ultimate goal of asking someone to serve in a position of leadership in the association. While serving on the various ministry teams of the association, it is our hope that individuals will learn many things that will assist them in the work of their local church and make their church stronger as a result. The rotation system used by the association enables us to benefit from the new ideas and passion of people in our churches. Hopefully, participants will benefit from their involvement with the association and be able to apply that in their work in the local church.

Nominations can be accepted throughout the year as vacancies occur throughout the year and the nominating committee will refer to them regularly.
