The Tar River Baptist Association (TRBA) is currently seeking a full-time Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) who will serve the Lord Jesus Christ by leading and supporting our network of cooperating Baptist churches across the Tar River region. This strategic role exists to help fulfill TRBA’s mission of strengthening churches, equipping leaders, and reaching communities for Christ.
The AMS will work under the direction of the TRBA Board of Directors to advance the Association’s three ministry priorities: community outreach, church health, and pastoral investment. This includes encouraging collaboration among member churches, facilitating local and global mission opportunities, supporting church revitalization and discipleship efforts, and building strong relationships with pastors through encouragement, coaching, and connection.
We are praying for a servant leader with a vibrant walk with Christ, a shepherd’s heart, and the strategic vision to serve a diverse group of churches in both rural and suburban settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in Southern Baptist ministry, demonstrate pastoral character and leadership skills consistent with Scripture, and affirm the doctrinal commitments of the Association.
If God is calling you to help advance His Kingdom through the work of local churches united in mission, we invite you to learn more by clicking on the link to the job description and prayerfully consider applying by sending your cover letter and resume to [email protected].
